What it does

It gives a local business a complete website on its own domain, built by our team from the owner’s answers and the business’s details, with any reviews quoted word for word. After launch the owner asks for changes in plain English, and anything risky goes to a person first.

The situation

A small local business often has a website that is out of date and hard to change, and each small edit means waiting on a developer. This product gives the owner a finished site made from what the business already has, then lets them ask for changes in plain English. The hard part is letting an owner’s request change a live site without letting a mistaken edit, or an attempt to trick the AI, go live.

What was built

A web app that renders each business’s site from its database record and serves it on the business’s own domain. An intake form collects the services to feature, the photos, and the domain the owner wants, and each photo is copied into the app’s own storage so it appears on the site. A small private admin covers customers, domains, and change requests.

Claude, Anthropic’s AI model, turns an owner’s plain-English change requests into a few small content changes. Low-risk edits publish after a delay, and the owner gets an email when the change is live. Anything touching contact details, anything that looks like an attempt to trick the AI, and anything it is unsure of goes to a person.

How it works

  1. The owner’s answers

A short form asks the owner for the services to feature, photos, and the domain they want.

  2. Built by our team

Our team builds the site from those answers and the business’s details. Any review it quotes is quoted word for word.

  3. The owner reviews it

The owner gets a link to the site, and we make one round of changes before launch.

  4. Live on their own domain

When the owner approves it, we connect the domain they have, or register one in the business’s name.

  5. A change request

After launch, the owner asks for a change in plain English, by email or from a private page.

  6. Claude drafts the change

Claude turns the request into a few small content changes.

  7. Live, or to a person

A low-risk edit publishes after a delay, and the owner gets an email when it is live. A change to contact details, or anything Claude is unsure of, goes to a person first.

How it is tested

Automated unit tests cover the rules that matter most: the checks on each site’s content, the checks that authenticate incoming webhooks, and saved examples of edit requests that try to trick the AI, which must never publish on their own.

Each route of the app was also checked by hand.
